This is a genre developed originally fo PC's and other home computers. They were inspired mainly by early paper-based role-

games,
particularly DUNGEONS and
DRAGONS. Like Dungeons and Dragons,
computer role-playing games or CRPG's involve a lot of character development, where characters gain resource statistics, describing their level of experiences, skills and other aspects. This genre includes games such as
Warcraft III, Arcanum and
Darklands. The availablity of this games are always and practically used by the players at any internet cafe or at home.
