Rolling Stones Bass player criticizes music games

Article Summary by: Bruna14

This abstract was translated from Baixista do Rolling Stones critica jogos musicais
Music games like “Guitar Hero” and "Rock Band" have been the Center of many discussions. Many have expressed their opinion
about that type of game and the last ones were Bill Wyman, former bass player from Rolling Stones, and Nick Mason, drummer of Pink Floyd. They both criticized that genre of games for the same reasons Jack White ( White Stripes and The Racounters), Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) and Prince did. They all believe this type of game keeps people from learning a true instrument. Nick Mason also says he hates seeing his own kids play those games “If they’d spend the same amount of time playing a real instrument they’d be very good at it”. Despite the apparent repudiation the artist doesn''t say Pink Floyd will never have songs on this kind of games, just because the bussiness of selling records in the form of CDs is disapperaing. Rolling Stones has many songs published in three diferent versions on the “Guitar Hero” serie.
