Ds Cards: Enhancing Your Nintendo Experience Manifold

The DSTT card has been in the market for a while and it continues to provide an exhilarating game play experience. It is a reliable and safe option and along with the R4 is one of the cheapest as well. The card supports a plug and play mechanism without need for any ROM conversions and flashing. It also enables soft reset and you can even use cheats to make your gameplay experience better. The DSTT firmware is available easily enough and can be downloaded from the internet within a matter of minutes. The card fulfills your multimedia needs by turning the Nintendo DS into one. The TF card slot is located conveniently and you do not have to take it out to slot the memory card in. The card comes with a spring mechanism which enables easy removal.

The user interface of the DSTT is a little different to R4 in certain areas. Once the booting is complete, the R4 provides a rather simple interface. The DSTT has a rather more complicated one or at least it appears that way on the face of it. Once you start using the card, you will realize that it actually quite simple and the controls take less than 10 minutes to understand.

Using cheat codes is easy and it depends on the individual game. If cheats are available a specific button called cheats will be displayed on the interface. The DSTT can be operated with the help of a stylus and this may make your life easier or difficult depending on how you see it. The information on the display looks very professional and this makes it a classier option for users. In an R4 when you start a game and the .SAV file is not present, it will provide the option of create or ignore, whereas in the DSTT the .SAV file will automatically be created.

Customization With The DSTT

The DSTT card enables a great degree of customization unlike some of the others in the same price category. Some of the features which can be modified include icons, background pictures, buttons, scrolling bars, skins, dialogs and so on. The color scheme can also be modified but you will require an .INI file for it. The soft reset feature can be enabled using a small icon at the bottom. The DSTT card enables you to reset each game individually or all games at one time.

In order to ensure that the games run quickly and are loaded fast, you must guarantee that the DMA option is on. Most of the older games do not require this feature but certain new games need this. You can set this function at the system page without any fuss.

The SDHC feature is standout when it comes to DSTT. Unlike some of the other options, the DSTT comes with integrated SDHC memory card facility and DSTT firmware upgrades are frequent too. It supports most of the normal memory cards as well and you can use one according to your needs.
