We sport metal armors but we’re not warriors, we are loaded with arms
& ammunition but we’re not extremists.
We plan strategies but we’re not the chief, we engage in all sorts of
sports but we’re not players.
We can acquire god mode but we’re not one, we shout, we rage, we
succeed, we fail.
And, when we fail, we restart, Hail! We are gamers!
Be proud if you are a gamer
because gaming is not a child’s play (though it is). There is a common
misconception that games are spoilers and it won’t take you anywhere. But, I
say gaming isn’t easy. It requires skills, talent, ability to make quick
decisions, ability to calculate and predict things and have a complete control
and coordination over your mind and body. So, what do you say now? Is that
easy?
And, for all the budding gamers out there, you’re doing a
good job. Don’t lose hope if you can’t defeat the boss or if you are stuck at
an irritating level. Just keep trying. Enough with the advice, what I wanted to
convey was that, how many of us have a complete gaming experience? We often play
from a couch with our joy pads in hands and complain about the spine aching.
Guys, a thorough gaming experience don’t come with getting a good console or
with a High Definition TV alone. It includes everything like the accessories as
well. The compilation of everything, gives you a comprehensive experience; an
experience that will make you feel you were actually a part of the game. So,
here are some accessories, a gamer should possess, if he expects to have a
total gaming experience.
Gaming gears:
A gaming Mouse
A gamer
first keeps his hand on a mouse. The hold of it will give a feel of holding a
high range of arms. The most essential part in a gaming mouse is the grip. It
should stand firm within our fists for a better control over the game. Next is
the sensitivity. The sensitivity is responsible for the precision and timings
especially in action/shooter games. If the mouse has additional controls such
buttons for ‘Nitro’, ‘reload’ etc. it’s very much appreciated.
Gaming headphone sets
Game
developers put in a lot of effort in coming up with the game’s soundtrack,
effects and resonance. These effects tend to give a better experience and
engrossment. A good headset will be able to retrieve even the slightest of the
sound effects like the rustling of leaves, silent walks and they also tend to
increase the adrenaline when playing a horror game.
A Gamers’ seat
A gamer
seat should offer comfort to the gamer no matter for how long he plays. The
shape, the height and the convenience should very well match the gaming needs.
One of the most affordable gamer chairs includes bean bags (which I personally
use). However, you can figure out your own comfortable chairs depending on the
type of game you play often.
Gaming wheels
For
speedy heads, who wish to derive an adrenaline rush with swift driving and
sudden drifts, you need an intense gaming wheel. The wheel should turn at your
will and must not be floppy. For a more comprehensive experience you can go for
the wheels which have clutch pedals along with accelerators and brakes. The
wheel should be able to make perfect turns and twists (when you have mastered
your hand controls).
Safety eyewear
The
human eyes tend to become weak when you consistently play them for hours. They
are sensitive to the strains and must be dealt with carefully. So, sport some
protective eye wear to eliminate irritation of the eye and also drink plenty of
water while playing to keep your eyes cool.
So, to all the fellow and budding gamers, experience gaming
to the core and just “Play on!”
