Ever wanted to be a
detective? Solve some crimes? I just joined a free
online detective
game called Sleuth. Kinda like The Crims,
but with brains! It’s good because, aside from the fact that it’s free,
it’s a lot like Cluedo, or an interactive
mystery novel.
You start out with a bit of cash, which won’t really buy you
anything. You can attempt up to 4 mysteries a day; 12 if you subscribe.
I started out with an Beginner
level case. Piece of cake! Finished it
after interrogating all the
suspects and chasing up their alibis. So I
decided to attempt one of the Easy level
cases. Indeed, a bit tougher,
with a lot more suspects, than the Beginner level cases.
By the way, there are about 10 different difficulty ratings, and you
get paid and level up after each successful case, so you can advance
your character on the global rankings. The game never ends, but cases
seem to have time limits, as the suspects interact with one another,
some getting killed along the way if you take too much time.
This game features a map, crime scene investigation, suspect
interrogation, and loads of interactive map sites that you can
investigate for clues to your case. Definitely worth a try! Click here to try out Sleuth!
