Authors and the website does not pay any remuneration. The content belongs to the writers and they hold the copyright on the same. After publication the relevant webpage
link is sent via email. This link can be used by writers as a part of their portfolio. If the author has a website, a weblink is also added at the end of the article. This link helps to drive traffic to author's website. If the writer does not hear from the website, it is their polite way of saying that the
article does not fit the bill.
