A nice place in Poland. I know many interesting and nice places in Poland. Therefore, when I am in Cracow, Wroclaw, Warszawa, or Gdansk, I always
visit the same places. There are the Old Town, museums, Artus Court, the Neptune fountain, the Palace of Culture, the Park of Lazienki, Wilanow, and others. Although visiting a ZOO is especially for small children, I like visit it very much. Watching wild
animals in their almost
natural conditions and seeing strange animals known only from fairy tales or television is very exciting for young children, teenagers, and grown-ups. It is also a pleasure to admire
huge animals such as
elephants, giraffes or lions and tigers and watch other creatures, which cannot normally be seen. Almost everybody remembers his first visit to the ZOO at the age of 4 or 5. It is wonderful to see all these animals in the ZOO at the same time. The elephants and hippopotamuses seem unexpectedly huge but other animals such as wolves or foxes seem too small compared with the ones from fairy tales. Monkeys are usually very funny but even an orangutan seems not big enough when we compare it to King Kong. Visiting a ZOO is certainly better than going to the circus where animals are trained,
kept, and transported in cruel, unhealthy conditions. Visits to the Zoo give me an opportunity of seeing animals, which I would never be able to see in their natural environment. However, best of all is to go to a safari park where animals are kept very close to their natural conditions.
