Sir Patrick Moore was admitted in a hospital in Chechister, on last Tuesday . The
astronomer will receive a pacemaker to
solve his heart condition.
As host of The Sky at Night, Sir Patrick has presented his TV show since 1957, he deserved for his services to television became a Sir of Royal Society.
Sir Patrick was elected president of the British Astronomical Association in 1983. He was admitted by the age of 11, and his first contact with
astronomy was from the 6 years of age.
As a well-known
astronomer he wrote many astronomy books and he was called the Carl Sagan of England.
He met Albert Einstein in person, and played music with him. Sir Patrick Moore was a self-taught musician and composer. He was a pianist.
