translate. Its not a problem when listening to BBC Radio 2 to translate the excitement of the announcer on the arrival of Nicholas Sarkozy of France who was addressing both Houses in the UK in London
yesterday ... in French.Reminds me in as much as its imperative to strike a balance between,ironic
comment and humour .. of Paul Muldoons poem. ..../at least they
werent speaking French/ which is terribly amusing and I found myself on the nostalgic trip back to the girls past .. where guess who was speaking French .. myself and my friend. But I suppose its all over now by the time I get to write it up. Nicholas Sarkozy of France was speaking French yesterday ...what a celebration. Someone I knew once said the reason behind Muldoons poetic comment was that /they werent speaking French/because they were "busy"! Making up is such fun dont you find .. keep on listening to BBC Radio 2....
