The Portuguese writer Jose Saramago, 1998 Nobel, has today launched "The Notebook", a book containing many articles published
on his personal blog at an event in which he criticized the illegal discharge of books and music online.
The writer thought that the blog format is not nothing out of this world "and that he has worked to the floor to take care when writing their texts, political, literary, and even humorous anecdotes.
He also admitted that he began working on the Internet at the request of his wife and translator, the Spanish journalist Pilar del Río.
The launch of the play was broadcast live from Lisbon via the Internet and Saramago answered questions from readers, one on whether the writers would affect the disclosure of their books online.
"Of course I would do what he wants to live?" Said the Nobel, who stressed his opposition to the "downloads anarchy" in the network, especially involving musicians.
"I hope that books on paper have a long life," the Portuguese writer, who left open the debate on the conditions under which the edits on line could succeed.

The digital log of Nobel, and has over two million tickets, according to the author, who considers the blog a "mass phenomenon" in response to the need of human beings to communicate and assert their own individuality.
Saramago said several of his texts of the blog, as in the charges against Berlusconi, and he described as "criminal", and dealing with the former president of United States, George W. Bush, White also their complaints.
The play, which in Italy at the moment has not been published, is a small compendium of texts written between September 2008 and March 2009.
Saramago, who last year finished his latest book "The Journey of the Elephant," has published books of great international success as "Blindness" (1995), "The Year of the Death of Ricardo Reis (1984) or" Gospel According to Jesus Christ "(1991).
