Barcelona Lucas Florez, 12, has proclaimed this weekend best Pokémon trainer in Europe in the Junior category of the
European Championship final "Pokémon Videogame Championship Series.
Florez has been one of the 1,300 candidates who have had Spanish number playoffs before reaching the City of Science and Industry of Paris. They saw the faces with the best "coaches" Pokémon in Spain, France, United Kingdom and Germany. His next challenge? The world final to be held in August in San Diego, Carlifornia.
Lucas Florez was introduced in the Pokémon universe for 3 years, alongside his brother, Alain, eleven years older than him and experienced player. This did not stop Lucas took little time in starting to win battles in the first Game Boy Pokémon Red and Pokémon Gold, which today remains his favorite, and then in the various renditions of the series for Nintendo DS. Montserrat Navea, Lucas's mother is proud of his son, whom she combines very well with his hobby studies, and that brings very good grades.
