The telecommunications giant Telecom Italia does not rule out a possible sale of its
participation in Telecom
Argentina,
where Italy's share is through the company which controls 54.74 percent of the South American.
Assi was made known today the CEO of Telecom Italia, Franco Bernabè during a conference on corporate governance in the city of Milan, in statements that reflected the Italian media.
"If there are great deals, we can consider, including a sale," said the manager of Telecom Italia.
"Not that I have to sell. Our goal, like all of the assets value. If values are interesting, and we will consider," he added.
Bernabè recalled that the Italian group is present in the South American country for many years and has asserted that his company has done "excellent work" that led to Telecom
Argentina to be at present a thriving company in growth. "
"We have been in Argentina and we are well," noted the CEO of Telecom Italia, owned by the Spanish Telefónica.
Telecom Argentina is controlled in a 54.74 percent Nortel, controlled by Sofora, a company owned by Telecom Italia to 50 percent.
