The current economic crisis, which seems to spare no area, severely affecting online advertising. The drop in revenues
in this sector began with the year 2009 and continues today. Studies have been conducted based on the total turnover of the four leading companies in this market: Google, Yahoo, Microsoft and AOL (have been taken into account all sums collected by AdSense, Yahoo's Ad Network and their affiliates - the revenue generated by the Google Apps have been excluded - and the " advertising" in the officially declared income online from the other two companies).
In spring 2009, their added income to about $ 8 billion and accusing a fall of 3.4% compared to the results of the same period a year earlier. Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, calls this recession "reset" and asserts that the income from online advertising have fallen into a kind of reset, from which they will again grow and grow. So is it that the worst is behind us, or is it that the collapse in advertising revenue will continue to grow?
