London's Heathrow tops list of worst airports, again
In the age of communication, traveling
has become an integral part of life. For business executives, frequent flying is a routine like commuting to office from one locality to another. In the personal level too, people take flights more often than before because of increased affordability and reduction in airfares. Airports all over the world have increased in numbers and their suitability too has become matter of assessment.
The Heathrow airport of London has been declared the worst airport this year again, which was the same in the last year. The Changi airport of Singapore has topped the list of all airports. Charles De Gaulle of France and Los Angeles airport of US as second worst and third worst respectively follows Heathrow airport. All members of Priority Pass that assesses airport lounge program participated in the survey to evaluate airports all over the globe. Jonathan French, the head of the Priority Pass blamed Heathrow airport of not taking enough steps to improve its rating. Frankfurt International and Miami International are adjudged as the fourth and fifth worst airports, informed Priority Pass.
On the higher side, after Changi, Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok is declared the second best airport consecutively second time. In Europe, Schiphol airport of Amsterdam is recognized as the most favorite airport.
Travelers with 17 flights in the last one year were the participants of the survey, who gave their opinions on different parameters of the airports.
Out of all major countries, only United States did not agree with the outcome of the survey mentioning Heathrow as the worst airport and some US airports in the bottom level.
