Michael Jackson who was acquitted on all 14 charges in his child molestation trial
earlier this year, is putting aside his present trials to sympathize with the suffering victims of the terrible disaster of
Hurricane Katrina., The enigmatic Michael Jackson has already composed a special song he has called, “From the Bottom of My Heart” to raise funds for the relief efforts in Aid of the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
That is the beauty of this unfortunate tragedy. It has moved mountains and oceans of human emotions all over the world to awaken the conscience of America to the full realization of the depth of the misery of the neglected populations of Americans in the Gulf Coast.
As James Hardley Chase said in one of classic crime thrillers, “You Are Dead Without Money”. Because the majority of those who lost the precious lives in the
catastrophe of Hurricane Katrina were those without the money to afford the means of escape. They had no vehicles of their own and had no money to even hire an ordinary truck to leave town before the deluge of the storm overtook them and they were drowned in the floods of Hurricane Katrina.
Already Usher Raymond has made efforts to appeal to Madonna and Michael Jackson to join other pop stars to do a benefit concert to raise more money for the devastated victims of hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
Michael Jackson said it pained him to see such tragedy happening to his fellow Americans. He added that he would reach out to his fellow artistes within the music industry to cooperate with him to help the victims of the catastrophe who have lost everything to overcome their grief.
The spokesperson for Michael Jackson, Raymone Bain said that the
Song will be recorded on 2 Seas Records, the music label of Prince Abdulla Hamad Alkhalifa of Bahrain. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
