web pages who pay google to register them on the search page for a limited duration of time.The more you pay the higher you appear on the search ,you can buy more keywords or more categories for your webpage to be listed on the search thus increasing your chances to be visited by the millions online searching from Astrology to Computers to Buying and selling online.
When Google started you could search a lot of things from web pages to images posted on the web but as time has evolved so has Google's search engine.Now we can search from web pages to images (in several local languages around the world!) to even videos on Google Video search engine (Video.google.com)
