LSL Presentation This website has an effective program that can help ESL student improve their language
communication skills. This program is called Listening and Speaking Lab, known as LSL. It offers classes about six classes that focus on conversation practice, listening skills, and vocabulary and idiom practice. The LSW program also offers language exchange. The ESL student meets with a native English speaker for two weeks to practice the language one is learning. This exchange is known to be very popular and effective. Free workshops are also offer at the LSL program, which can help one improve your listening skills with a small group setting. For example, the student will learn to identify the lyrics of popular songs. Tutoring services are also a valuable part of this program. If one needs to prepare a presentation, the LSL program has friendly tutors who can help ESL students organize a speech or a class presentation and will check your pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar. The LSL lab has resources on line to assist ESL student with a variety of topics. For example, one topic that I found important was the vocabulary used in Presidential Elections. I learned the definition of words such as:
campaign - when people act together to try to get a candidate elected to a job;
candidate - a person who is trying to get elected;
