Friendster is a social network whose popularity is rising more and more, arriving to count incredible amount of users who gets easily addicted to it. Never a social network has captured mass attention like Friendster is doing nowadays.
It's said that actually the network has 50 millions of users. We ignore if this number corresponds to truth, or it's just an invention in order to stimulate the public interest in the network. By the way, we can check with our own eyes, and testify that every moment there are many people on Friendster, and they are really friendly! (Well, what would you expect to find, in a site named Friendster? Unfriendly people? The name would have been to change in Unfriendster! Eheheh, stupid joke, I know!)
Yor web of friends gets dubbed, because the method connects your personal circle of friends with personal
relationships. So, the network collects every data about registered users, and make possible to indicate which users would fit better to other users, so in order to suggest new possible relationships... Personally, I consider Friendster like an evolution of Facebook. I know, they are different products: but the service provided by Friendster is more vast and attracting, finalized at the development of personal relationships.
It's not far a future when everybody will know lovers and partners through the web: because from Friends is rather possible - in many cases - to turn into Lovers. Anyway, we guess that Friendster will remain Friendster and never become Lovster... But who know? Life is full of surprises, nothing has to be predicted!
