Got it at last ... the word "Regional" reaches out to all of us and we are invited
to write on a
theme in particular a
Region of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland.
I have been scratching my head wondering what to focus on and it was during this
fruitful period I got my hand in and wrote about London Transport i.e. The Tube!
I suppose its not everyone''s cup of tea ... some
poets would wax lyrical at
sunsets and sunrises and the view of the parlour before dawn or the kitchen in
silhouette and the garden during the early part of Autumn. Or another favourite
angle would be ... party
time and fiesta and everyone having a good time especially in your region in England.
Well the mind turns on odd bits and pieces and like me if you are pushed for time
believe it its a great day for the
Poet to find the
Tube around the corner is
open, working and the trains are on time .. and the price being right ... there''s not
a lot to complain about. I know the Underground in London like the back of my hand so I was very pleased when my poem on the Southern Poets Theme was published this Autumn by Poetry Now UK .... So dare I say it .... I am a London Underground Poet at last ... Praise Be .... will keep you posted on the much discussed subject of remuneration .... excellent stuff ... keep on reading ...Regionally!
