Bing is brand new search engine from Microsoft. Today, I
decided to check it from different yardstick. The result is staggering to say
the least. I must say, that after a long time there is something which can
really give a fight to now prevailing google.
When we search something our main criteria is to look into
the information that we want to see. Only relevance can suffice this and here
bing scores better than google. Though for the same keywords google is giving
more results than bing but the first two pages of results on the bing is more
relevant than google.
Even searching for my name give me more result here at bing
than google. Some of them are those which has never been seen by me on google.
There is another pinch though. Google has always given high
page ranking to stuffs that has been published here on shvoong. This is why our
content got here more views than anyother user generated content sites. However,
searching keywords related to shvoong, I find that it is not giving too much
importance to shvoong as google.
Hope, shvoong will get good ranking from bing. Leaving
this, I foung bing better than google.
