After like 18 months, the camera on my curve 8300 stopped working
so i'm in the market for a new cell cuz im one of those ppl who actually uses their camera regularly....
the at&t sales rep told me i could get the bold with all the best
features or wait a few months for the new curve which would have wifi
but no 3g..so how important is it to have 3g? i live in philly and im
not really sure how big a market it is for 3g....i use my internet a
lot so im not sure how big a difference that makes but i'd just like to
know will having 3g be so much better than regular edge.I find the real advantage of 3g is not the speed but the ability to do many things at once when in a 3g coverage area.Downloading email and messages while talking on the phone is really
nice and the ability to talk on the Bold while web browsing or instant
messaging is great too.I do not find that the 3g network is that much faster when compared to Edge but the ability to do more at once is good. One of the main advantages of 3G is the ability to use data during a
call. Its very convenient to download email & attachments while
talking on the phone. You can also web browse or IM while talking too. If you live in a good 3G area, the
value is huge. I have the Bold in a good 3G area and cannot imagine
using a BB or any phone without it anymore.
