Snopes is a really great website, it has lists of categories if you yourself are a
curious person on if something is really true or if it's something really
bogus. There's a list of superstitions what is real what is not,
urban legends, internet hoaxes and the list runs on. They also have a list of old and new legends. To find out what's new you can sign up to get daily reports.
As I was searching through some of the website curiosity got the best of me so I looked some things up.
Some of the things I have been told when I was younger I thought were all bogus but some of the things that were actually true are the following:
1. people have died from laughing (to find this look under the category horror and click on the link that says "freakish fatalities)
2. 2 men really did lose a arm in a tug of war contest (you can find this under the same category as number 1)
3. A couple separately plays the lottery by using the numbers their fortune cookies has provided and they both won. (to find this look under the category luck and click on the link that says "A World of Luck")
I hope you all enjoy this website as much as I did! It can be very amusing and interesting!
