Bigger than Google, new search engine unveiled
Google has become synonymous to the search of any topic we can think
of. And we all rely on Google heavily for matters trivial to serious in our daily life. But, the inventor of most frequently used science programmes has come out with a new search engine that may revolutionize searching in the internet.
This new search engine is named as Wolfram Alpha. On search Google presents millions of pages on a topic and we go through the pages looking for our exact want. Wolfram Alpha tries to understand the question, and then comes out relevant information from its curated database for the searcher, instead of giving generalized information through end numbers of pages. A demonstration of this search engine has been given recently, and the technology will become public on 18th May, it was revealed.
This will save time for the searcher as he/she will get the needed information in one go that again searching pages of that his/her topic. Use of higher level and sophisticated algorithms has made it possible to understand the question and reach a pin pointed answer for the searcher. The man behind this search engine is Stephen Wolfram whose Mathematical programme is popular among the science oriented people throughout the world.
Answers in useful format are provided for people to chose their needed information, and go deeper as they want is the idea Wolfram Alpha had in mind. Now that it has come out with the desired solution of searching, we have to see practically how useful this search engine is over the Google search engine. Answer from verified data will obviously be preferred, and that too when it is calculated for relevant questions will be distinctly different from the answers we get today.
This is the beginning and we have covered almost 90% of a big reference library, which will slowly cover more and more, said 49 yeas old Wolfram.
We should not expect that this tool will replace Google in the future; rather it will add more ease for the users with artificial intelligence, said Tom Simpson, an expert in the field.
