Neil admits to masturbation & gay lovemaking scenes

Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mughda Godse, and Arya Babbar is making enough news, which is good publicity for the film.
First, we heard about Nitin’s naked scene in the film that has been smudged; now the news of his masturbation scene too will see the same fate, the director of the film informed.
‘Jail’ is important to both the actor and the director, both feel. Bhandarkear’s earlier films like Chandi Bar, Page 3, Traffic Signal, Corporate, and Fashion are all based on real life happenings, and this one too is being shaped on the similar perception. He wanted to portray the actual feelings of the characters in the films, but keeping in mind the conservative look of the sensor board, he along with Neil decided to omit the scene for a smooth journey.
This particular sequence was picturised on the set with 450 other actors’ presence, which did not bother Neil much as he was confident about Madhur’s capability of tackling those type of scenes aesthetically. He out-rightly opined to have said NO to any other director for this type of scene. The actual incident in the film happens, when all the inmates are fast asleep at night. There is the valid reason to depict the masturbation scene as the prisoner is starved of sex for long two years inside the prison. The said prisoner, as happens often, fantasizes someone, and in this case he takes his girl friend as the subject to enact the act, and gets his desired satisfaction.
The idea of deleting the scene from the film came when both of them saw the scene on the screen, they found it quit vividly stunning, and decided to drop it.
The other sex-oriented scene is the homosexually oral activity he saw between two inmates of the prison, when he went to the bathroom to satisfy nature’s call. Those inmates expressed their annoyance while blaming Neil for spoiling the game. For this sequence, the director removed the dialogue while keeping the visual intact.
Cinema in India has not yet reached the stature of west in terms of explicit scenes, but catching up.
