Mylot.com is a site that pays you for taking part in
discussions.
Registration is free and you are asked to choose
different topics that
interest you( a total of 72 topics are there).When you log in to your
account, you are given option to start a
discussion from your interests
or participate in ongoing
discussions.You are paid according to the
number of discussions you have started and participated in.
If you have all the time in the world and don't mind the measly amount
added to your account then you can enjoy being at mylot.There are a
variety of topics people discuss.From racism to "do you always finish
your meals" kind of questions.You can make money
through referrals also.Minimum pay out is $10 and paid through paypal
or monybookers(where paypal is not available).The earnings are updated
every 24 hours.
The site is not to be mistaken for a livelihood option.I started on
mylot in july and my account statment shows a balance of $0.22 :)
Nice.Mylot doesn't pay its members who reside in countries which come
under OFAC(Office of Foregin Assets Control).
Another thing is that your earnings can take a dip if the site masters find some of the post(s) below their standard. Firstly you can post discussions. These are hopefully things that you
wish to discuss with everyone. They can be in any form but must be
proper discussions and not just a single word or two word question.
People will hopefully respond to your discussion and when you have 10 or more responses,you will earn per response.
There is no fixed amount.
Secondly you can respond to others discussions.
The method of responding is to click 'respond' and type into a little
text box. You need to be careful at this stage, as once you have
submitted your response,there is no way to change it.
You cannot delete a response or a posted discussion.
You can submit a blog for inclusion on the site.
You may upload your own photos to the site. Use them to include with
your interests and you will be paid. It is a very small amount per
photo.
Include a photo with a discussion or response for a small amount.
Once you have posted 500 responses, you can cut and paste into the response text boxes.
Referrals can earn you money too. I think it is 10% of your referrals earnings .They don't lose out by your earning from referring them.Mylot is a friendly place with a high proportion of Indian and American
participants and a fair smattering of most other nationalities.
All correspondence is in English.
There is very little flaming or trolling due to the rules of the site
and any unpleasantness can be reported to admin who will delete the
offending discussion.
