This is what you should do.
1. Enabling
Gmail POP in your gmail account:
=. log in
=. select setting on your
gmail page
=. select forwarding and pop/
imap =. enabling POP for all mail or Enable POP for mail that arrives now on
=. select on action you like to from "when messages are accessed with POP"
=. now you can configure your email address by selecting outlook express/microsoft Outlookbefore you
hit save changes button below.
2. Open up your Outlook Express program.
3. select tools menu
4. after that select "account"
5. choose "add" and then "mail"
6. Enter the display name you like and then choose next
7. Insert your full Gmail mail account address in the email field address and then select next
8. enter POP.gmail.com on the incoming mail field and SMTP.gmail.com on the outgoing mail server.
9. select next
10. insert your Gmail username on the account name field
11. after that enter your password on the password field before click next.
12. click on finish.
13. select tools menu and choose account.
14. click your mouse twice at pop.gmail.com select properties and than advanced tab
15. Select the cross check at the box "This server requires a secure connection(SSL)"
16. enter number 465 in the outgoing mail field (SMTP).
17. enter number 995 in the incoming mail field (POP3)
18. back to step 13 and choose pop.gmail.com
19. select the checkbox at "my server requires authentification"
20. choose ok
