According to Harvey Segal of SuperTips.com, every business must indeed need advertizing. He explains: ''an ad tracker is a program which tells you where visitors to your site have come from.Simple example: you place a classified ad with a link to your site in an ezine. The basic ad tracker tells you the response to that ad i.e. the number of people who clicked through to your site from that ad. The early ad trackers produced little more information than totals for each of your ad campaigns. The latest versions now provide a host of features, they can even show you where your customer visited after leaving your site''.This will be covered later in Chapter 4.
