Vacuum Places Improved to Speedup Your Firefox
Firefox is a fast browser, but it slows down from time
to time. This speed
reduction occur as en effect of the fragmentation of profile databases (history and bookmarks). The size of the
database will get inflated with more and more junk data. Those junks are mixed together with the real data.
Vacuum Places Improved greatly reduce the lag that commonly happen when you are typing in the address bar. It also speed up the start up of forefox. This firefox add on works by defragmenting the SQLite database. Cleans it up from the junk data while keeping the real data.
Vacuum Places Improved provide you with two option, that is to automatically cleans up the database after every x restart of firefox, or just remind you to do the proses after every x startup of firefox. You can freely set the value of "x" number.
