Monitor
The monitor has a screen like the screen of a TV.
We can see the words, pictures, cartoons and stories on this screen.
All the work we do on the computer comes on the screen.
CPU box – CPU
The CPU is in the CPU box.
The CPU does all the calculate work in a computer.
So, we call the CPU `the brain of the computer’.
All the other parts of a computer are connected to the CPU.
Keyboard
The keyboard is connected to the CPU with a wire.
We use the keyboard to tell the computer what to do.
We can use it to write letters, words and numbers on the computer.
Mouse
The mouse is also connected to the CPU with a wire.
Like the keyboard, we use the mouse to tell the computer what to do.
The mouse helps us to draw and color pictures.
Printer
The printer prints on paper the work we do on the computer.
Sound speakers
The speakers we use to listen to the sound and audio music on the computer.
