I was searching
on google for a software that would enable me to watch free TV on my PC. After
some browsing, I found http://internettv4u.org/
and decided to buy their “great software” to watch +9000 channels for $9.95.
After paying through Paypal and downloading the program, I discovered that their
software is actually the PlayBox TV Player available for free from http://www.playbox-tv-player.com/!!!
(When you buy, you’re given a username and password, and asked to access the download
links from another website: http://www.authpro.com/auth/internettvonpc/).
It was pure piracy, copyright infringement, stealing of the playbox tv player
from the owner and selling it discreetly and secretly under internettv4u
website! (just noticed that their website name is also different from the name
shown on their page “NewPCTV4u.com”… huh??) . If you have purchased this
software from them (Merchant name by the way is: 刘 方涛 = as it appears on Paypal transaction), you should request your money
back. I’m not sure if their “30-day money back guarantee” is real, but in my
case I just reported the issue to Paypal and opened a case to get my refund. Do
not be fooled by that special offer of $9.95 instead of $30, etc… the website
is already making money by selling a free software owned by playbox-tv-player.com!
The original software is free, and supposed to let you watch +1000 channels (the
+9000channels is a lie). Unfortunately, when I searched the Internet for any
review on http://internettv4u.org/
before purchasing, I found none…, but now that I know they are thieves, I
thought I should write this review and let people know that the software
advertised by these pirates is already available for free!!
