24 Year old footballer a midfielder has had the leg amputated as a result of being struck by lightning on July 24 over six weeks ago. He is .Jonathan Richter and he has been in intensive care at Copenhagen Hospital since that date! Richter is a Danish Midfielder for Nordsjaelland and he faces a severe rehabilitation - programme!
How odd the weather can appear .... its hard to imagine someone being struck by lightning and having to have a leg amputation is a horrific result. Many years ago Our local Newsagent with family was walking the Wordsworth walk in England and he was struck by lightning. I found myself one night outside the Guildhall in the city and as I was waiting for a train to London .. a woman came up to me whom I recognized as the wife of our local newsagent .... she informed me that she was now a widow and her husband had been killed by a bolt of lightning .. God's revenge I guess .. thanks Yahoo Sport!
