drew in Hanover in a
group D
match in the World Cup 2006 refereed by Shamsul Maidin of Singapore. The mexican team went out to devour the 'Black Antelopes' of Angola, in a match that would have meant qualification for the last 16 to the aztecs if they won and an early exit from the competition for the africans if they had lost. The other match in this group will be played on saturday in Frankfurt between Portugal and Iran.
