Nelson Mandela plans to come to London England to celebrate his 90th Birthday on June 27 2008 at Hyde Park in London. Isnt
it strange to rediscover Nelson Mandela's history from this TVNZ blog via yahoo alerts! Mandela was in prison for over 20 years and got his freedom about 1990 ... he is retired but is out of retirement to "Head" this Benefit/Birthday Party Gig in London at Hyde Park and the focus of this Concert/Event is fund raising for HIV/Aids .. the proceeds of the event will go to this HIV/AIDS charity ... . a great cause and I note that the tickets at selling at,£65 each UK money!
Interestingly enough, the attendees will include such famous people as former President Bill Clinton and Oprah Winfrey plus Robert de Niro the star of the much talked about DVD series of films available here in the UK .. Godfather! But I must admit my favourite is still Al Pacino, however, Robert de Niro is up there with the "best" of them in London at Nelson Mandela's 90th Birthday Party Celebration in June 27 2008!
