Having just come into town to do the mail I popped into Wetherspoons Bar and decided to go upstairs and have a coffee and watch
some TV ... there was much excitement about the crowd as the two people on the TV screen had just won £25 million on the
Lottery .. what an
extraordinary event .... I had just been over to sign my second book with the US Publishing Company and was rather looking like the cat that got the cream but I must admit this Win really was extraordinary ... the two people are British Pensioners and are
Brian and Jane Caswell aged both in their 70s and Brian is a retired engineer and Jane is a former book binder and they have 2 daughters age 45 and 47 respectively plus 4 grandchildren between them.
Their joint dream with the money is to visit Rio de Janeiro in South America and Brian is involved in - at home with Harpers Allotment Society ... I guess its known as the Euro Lottery and Brian put in £1.50 stake in a local newspaper .. so these two people have made history here in the UK as this win is the third biggest in the Lottery winnings overall . nice work!
