The Colorado History Museum collects historical items of ancient people with regards to their traditional and cultural attributes.
You will be amazed to discover how the early dwellers contributed to the society and what are their mode of living during those early years.   The Museums includes rooms for their variety of exhibits. One of the fascinating exhibit is the “Italian of Denver”.  In 1800, Italians who migrated in Denver occupies 14% of its total population and owned pieces of lands. They worked as miners, farmers, business people and railroad workers.  Another exhibit is, “Tribal Paths: Colorado's American Indians, 1500 to Today”, culturally explores the abundant life of the American Indians of Colorado which includes their way of living and their contributions as well. Lastly is the, “Ancient Voices: Stories of Colorado's Distant Past”, it includes all the first people who lived in Colorado.  To make it more interesting, they include images, voices, and music by introducing to visitors the geography, wildlife, vegetation, and the long human presence in Colorado.   Being a member can avail of many benefits. Like, free admission and many more. Moreover, children below 12 years old are free during Saturdays.   Researching is free for the public at the Stephen Library, second floor of the building between 10:00 am to 4:30 pm from Tuesday until Saturday.   Parking is available daily at the Cultural Center Parking garage.  There are also open lots nearby where you can freely park your car.   Exploring Colorado’s captivating collection acquires more intellectual learning on how the inhabitants of the early times make their own life and how they contributed to the history of American Culture.
