HISPANIC COLLEGE FUND Several pharmacy scholarships are available through the Hispanic College Fund. The minimum requirements are: 1) must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident residing in the fifty states or Puerto Rico; 2) must have a minimum GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; 3) must plan to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student from Fall 2007-Spring 2008; 4) must plan to be enrolled in a college or university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico. NATIONAL COMMUNITY PHARMACISTS ASSOCIATION (NCPA) The NCPA Foundation offers scholarships to pharmacy

LINDA ANNE NEWMAN PHARMACY SCHOLARSHIP SCHOLARSHIP recipients must demonstrate financial need and high academic promise as determined by the appropriate officials of the WVU School of Pharmacy. First preference will be given to graduates of Robert C. Byrd High School, the successor school of Washington Irving High School. Should there be no qualified students from Robert C. Byrd High School, preference shall go to WV residents who demonstrate the criteria stated above. Must file the FAFSA by March 1.
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS (SDS) The SDS
program is authorized by section 737 of the Public Health Service (PHS) Act. The Secretary may make funds available to eligible schools for the purpose of providing scholarships to financially needy students from disadvantaged backgrounds enrolled or accepted for enrollment as full time health profession pharmacy students. The SDS program provides financial assistance without a service or financial obligation. Must file the FAFSA by March 1. Parent information is required, regardless of dependency status.
US NAVY'S HEALTH SERVICE COLLEGIATE PROGRAM (HSCP) Benefits of this program include a minimum of $1,900 monthly & eligible for promotion during the program. Eligible for all active duty pay, leave, and other privileges. Upon graduation you would be commissioned as a Lieutenant (0-3) Medical Service Corps Officer.
