It's official: Women cry more than men
The official study report says that women cry more often than
men are naturally true, which shows the perception of most of us on this subject is same.
Researchers of the
German Society of Ophthalmology conclude that men cry only 6 to 17 times a year, whereas the opposite gender does the same act 30 to 64 times a year. At the bottom of the figures, the women’s crying rate is almost five times higher than men are. It is no surprise to note this statistics, since ages women is known to shed tears easily, which is now officially proved. Though this finding has no special importance in the day-to-day life, yet doubts in any mind would be clear for good.
The study result also points out the crying duration, which is again higher for women then men. Crying of men lasts just 2 to 4 minutes compare to women’s around 6 minutes. On reasons, women cry due to inadequateness, quick emotions, difficult situations, and by remembering the past; men mostly cry on failed relationship and empathy, the research disclosed.
Although there is difference in the statistics of crying for both men and women - the difference is absent for both of the genders up to the age of 13, revealed the study. It says that joy, sadness, anger, jealousy, all these are the result of learning, claimed the study.
