What with all the fuss about Elections in this country its now the turn
of this writer to discuss the Politics of Northern Ireland.
The blog is full of the news of the New Government Deal in Northern Ireland
with Ian Paisley and Martin McGuinness taking up positions in their
new Executive ... these two leaders of Northern Ireland Society have
been at war for over 30 years of the Troubles ... and its seen as
a
political highlight for Prime Minister Tony Blair the British PM
in this achievement today in Northern Ireland.
Apparently the groupings include Senator Edward Kennedy and a delegation
from the United States of
America in this Irish American and Northern Ireland
American connection in the light of the stability of this Executive.
It will be interesting to see if they can put behind them the 30 years of
War between Catholic and Protestant, and Irish Republican Army and
Loyalist/Unionist forces ... it must be easier to say than to do ..
I wish them well and Congratulations are offered all round to everyone
concerned on this historic occasion.

It was written just around the time I met President Bill Clinton in
Belfast Northern Ireland on 26th August, 2004, at Bill Clinton''s
Book Signing which was exceptionally well attended.
It encouraged me to write some poems about these experiences
and I was honoured greatly to be offered a publishing contract
with this American Publishing House in Baltimore, Maryland,
U.S.A.
I have yet to do a Book Signing and still dream about
entering the Best Seller List in America and the UK!
