The
inflation to the Brazilian consumer sped up for the first time in the last year since 2003, in reason of a jump in the food costs resultant of external and internal factors of demand and offers.

In 2008, the composition of the inflation must move, what it will guarantee an inferior tax, but very next to the one to the last year according to market. While the foods tend to decelerate the high one, the managed ones, as tariffs, must go up more.

Prices to Consumidor Amplo (4,46 IPCA) advanced
percent in 2007, before high of 3,14 percent in 2006, informed the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Estatística (IBGE) in the friday.
The tax of the year was slightly below of the center of the goal of inflation of the year, of 4,5 percent. The goal has tolerance of 2 percentile points for top or low.
“On-line Lode with what it imagined, with much weight of feeding, that was the great prominence of the year”, affirmed Silvio Fields Grandson, chief economist of the Schahin Bank.
In 2007, the 10,79 food prices had gone up percent, answering for 2,21 percentile points, almost half, of the IPCA.
The IBGE pointed as factors with respect to this pressure “favorable climatic conditions, with intense rains in the first semester and long estiagem in as; high prices of the products quoted in the international market; increase of the exportations, favored for climatic problems in producing countries; reduction of harvest for low remuneration in previous periods; e increase of the demand for foods, internal how much in such a way external”.
The item 22,15 meats advanced percent and was the
biggest contribution for the inflation in the year. In as place it was the o item milk and derivatives, with 19,79 rise of percent, and in third o beans, that jumped 109,20 percent.
On the other hand, the biggest negative contribution of 2007 came of the tariff of electric energy, whose price declined 6,16 percent. With this, the costs of the not-nourishing products had had in 2007 to less high of 1998, of 2,83 percent.
“The variation if had to the following factors: exchange in fall, what it favored the cost of the imported ones, stimulated the competition and led to the reduction of the
tariffs of electric energy; application of indices of specific correction in substitution to the generalities; alteration of methodology of collection of the accounts of fixed telephone of pulse for minutes” and to the inexistence of readjustments of the gasoline and the urban buses in some regions, according to IBGE.
In this year, this must be inverted. “In 2008, we go to see a composition difference, with the managed
ones more pressured and still high feeding, but less of what it occurred in 2007. We slightly wait a IPCA below of the one of 2007, of 4,30 percent ", affirmed Fields Grandson.
With the acceleration of the indices that mark out with buoys contracts, the IGPs in 2007, the behavior of the tariffs in this year will be less favorable. Moreover, some analysts speculate on an increase of fuels in reason of the followed records of the oil.
Positive December
In December, the 0,74 IPCA went up percent, the biggest tax of the year, above of the variation of 0,38 percent of November.
The open data had shown, according to analysts, some positive item, although the acceleration.
