KID'S MONEY

Website Review   by:fnbpublica

If you're interested in your child's financial education, here's a perfect website for you and your child to begin the study. Say your kids are asking you rude questions about their allowance? They don't seem to know where money comes from? They don't know anything about saving and spending money? They don't know anything about why you've assigned them chores and jobs connected to their money?
Then send them online to KID'S MONEY. There's a link to Allowance Magic. This website helps to turn allowance into a "learning adventure." You can join the Allowance Magic organization. There is a link for parents and kids. There's also an Allowance Magic Store which contains "everything you can imagine on allowances" - books, games, toys.
Kids Money Store link provides money books, audio books, banks, games, videos and other products to help in the learning activities associated with financial learning. Children can buy their first stock, which teaches children hwo to invest. There are books for children from preschool to older. There are books on coin collecting.
There's a link to the Monopoly Store with Monopoly board games, computer games, toys and collectibles, etc.
Other links include Kids Making Money areas, where you and/or your children can own money making suggestions for children. Suggestions include buying and selling bikes, tutoring/teaching, baby-sitting, wrapping gifts, etc. If you have any suggestions include them in their suggestion form.
There's a Kids' Baby Sitting Area with tips and suggestions for children who are babysitters, and babysitting tips from other kids, like bringing a bag of toys for kids of all ages to "don't yell at the kids." There's also a Baby-Sitter's Survey form to share your babysitting tips.
There's a link for web searches.
There's a Kids Money Making Q & A, which includes questions on types of money making, making money on a regular basis, making travel money, making money for clothes, etc.
So if you want to introduce your children to money and finance, even preschoolers, this is an excellent website.
So, if your kids ever ask you, "How can a kid make money?" send them to this website.
