There are many people on the internet looking for specific files which
are most often not available on the internet. Wrold wide web is a wide
space but inspite of this there are many contents which is not
accesible to the user of the internet. the reason for which is there
are files or software or articles which are legalised and we need to
pay some amount before we could access them. But many people are not
really interested in buying things which costs them money. In this
situation the File sharing comes into picture. Usually file sharing
follows the peer-to-peer (P2P) model, where the files are stored on and
served by personal computers of the users.
Most people who engage in file sharing are also downloading files that
other users share. Sometimes these two activities are linked together.
P2P File sharing is distinct from file trading in that downloading
files from a P2P network does not require uploading, although some
networks either provide incentives for uploading such as credits or
force the sharing of files being currently downloaded.
In this way the File sharing software helps the user to download the
file which is not easily available to when they search it on WWW.
