Fanfiction is an online community where fans (or fanfictioners) make and share their own stories based from different known fictions under different categories (anime/manga, books, movies, tv shows, cartoons etc.). Here, you are free to create your own version of your chosen fiction, upload it, and let the whole world read and review (R@R).
There is no age limit here, in fact, this is the place where you can meet writers as young as 10 years old. There are many terms in here that are already adopted by the site (those that fanfictioners themselves had made up). Submitted stories will be directly shown as an archive story under the chosen fiction (title with summary). Most stories are subjected to further chapter uploading by the author. This means that the authors write their stories on a chapter by chapter basis until the story is finished. Reviews are also per chapter. There is also a kind of story called shot/s (short stories). When they say, one shot, they mean a one chapter complete story, same goes for two shots and three shots (usually up to three shots only).
Stories also follow a specific rating system to determine their suitability to readers of various age brackets. Visitors (unregistered members) are allowed to read and sometimes review (depending on the author). Authors can make or join forums and communities as a part of the site's interaction.
