Second Free Trial
A month ago Netflix sent me an email stating that I was able to receive a 30-day free trial and I found this odd. Why did I find it so odd? Because about a year ago I had signed up for my first free trial, paid for a couple months and then had to cancel due to lack of money.
So when I received the email I had to check it out. I loved Netflix on my first go around. Watched movies I had never seen and they were all right there at the tip of my fingers. Plus if I wanted I could get new releases mailed to my door. All of it was for one low price.
Then Netflix did the big "no-no." They made the new releases to your door and instant streaming videos two separate features. Now, this is not why I canceled my subscription. It is however how many people canceled theirs. Anyway, the price had gone up and I didn't think twice about renewing my subscription to Netflix.
Netflix regained my interest by allowing me to have a second free trial. This trial only includes one feature and I chose the instant streaming video. I have to say I'm pleased with my subscription. I may not see new releases. But what does matter is how I can put it on the Kid's section and allow my toddlers to be entertained for a couple hours. We don't have the extra cash to pay for cable and having those Nickelodeon and PBS shows ready right now when they want it, is so very nice. Peaceful even.
Netflix you have regained a customer all because you took another stab at allowing for a free trial.
