Tumblr, one of the most known blogging sites. I have to admit, the first time I used Tumblr I had no idea what went where or even what 'blogging.' was. The layout of it all confused me, Luckily I had about 40 friends already using the site. They guided me threw everything and now I can't stay off Tumblr! Tumblr is where you tell your own personal story. Your blog can show the world how different you are from everyone else, but your blog is visible to anyone on the internet. If I had to put a minimum age on the website I would say 16 and up. I know some kids are thinking "It's just blogging." But parents don't be fooled. Tumblr has some sexual references as well as drugs and alcohol. Also, you can never have a completely private profile unless you make a second profile and 'restrict.' it to just your friends. There are a few blogs/comments in which they use strong language as well. Now Lets us look at the Pros and Cons.
Pros: It has superb visual text, It is good for intermediate bloggers, and Its free!
Cons: Not for Experienced Bloggers, Limits posting space and would probably be a frustrating experience for anyone who is a constant blogger. Not for anyone under the age of 16, inappropriate content at times.
So the bottom line is, If you're looking for a free, organized way to blog and you're a beginner to intermediate blogger, Tumblr would be right for you.
