What is pinterest???
Pinterest is social media site that geared purely to pictures, begin with a "board" and as you surf the web you can "pin" interesting pictures to it, and your post will show up on your friends feeds and they can see what you pin also they can repin your pictures.Pinterest remains an invite only website.this site was launched in 2010 and now has grown up with millions members, there are over 12 millions using pinterest.
when i write this article pinterest is invite only.
so that, How to get an invite???
1.ask for it directly from pinterest's website.
2.Find group on facebook that are dedicated to pinterest invites
3.ask your friend and family.
4.Find various forums that offer pinterest invites, or request one on other pinning forums.
Pinterest terminology
Boards :give you visual, pretend this is like wall,fridge or corkboard that you would pin things to. you can setup different types of boards such as book reading, best cars etc....
pin :pin pictures to your board. Anytime you find something interesting, you can pin it to your board
Re-pin :This is like Twitters re-tweet
like :such as like on facebook.if you want to get more followers you should like a lot of pins as this will get your name out there more and give you more exposure.
And you should know the majority of pinterest users are women between the ages of 25-54 and only 25% of pinterest users have earned a bachelors or higher degree.
