I often hear people quip about how hard it is to find a good job these days. But I rarely hear that from my fellow net job hunters. Between all the employment sites out there, as well as all the companies on the internet themselves, with their own career listings, I find it easy to find employers looking for staff. On the brighter-still side, you get a view of the company, can find multiple or cross-country/international positions, and you get the opportunity to check them out as they may be checking you out.
Quick hints for job-hunting via the net: Start with a list of companies you think might be good to work for and check out their website, they may have a career center online! Next, there are a ton of great employment site for those actively seeking work. Check out one's like Monster, Workopolis, Working.com, HotJobs, and any others you like. Do a few searches as you may want to consider expanding your horizons. You'll find a ton which you can apply to right from the site. Another way to go is to Google or Yahoo positions you'd like to apply for. And check out the sites you go to every day. You may be surprised!
