What freedoms are being fought for in Iraq?

Article Abstract by: Tony El

Original Author: Tony El
What is Memorial Day to us today?  I feel that it has gone the way of irrelavence just as Christmas and Independence
Day.  Not say the organic intent and purpose of the Memorial Day and these others were not relevant to many people who take such matters seriously, but sadly to say today these days are more for the purposes of cookouts, paid days off, and shopping. For the first time in America's history have we experienced two consecutive Presidents who persude aggressive interventionism and open contempt for the American people and the Constitution that they each swore to protect and uphold.Since the events of September 11, 2001 the Administration has used it to distract the American people from it's huge Federalism, North American Unification, and it's agenda to subjugate America to the UN.  So, the question that I ask, what are we celebrating on Memorial Day as well Independence Day?  Does anyone care?  Edward R. Murrow stated, "We can not defend freedoms abroad while deserting it at home.  Food for thought today for real.
