The higher level of development of China-EU relationship today with new impetus, new momentum and new progress adds an important
chapter to the annals of China-EU relations and arouses great attention from the international community. The author makes an analysis from the perspectives of development process of China-EU relationship, establishment of long-term, stable and constructive partnership, motives for new development of the relationship between two sides, and the prospects and impacts of China-EU relationship. The author argues that given their rising power and influence, the positions and actions of China and EU and their cooperation, which promote peace, stability and development of the world, would first help push forward the trend of world multipolarity and democratization of international relations; secondly become more sensitive and pay more attention to the interests of developing countries, to promoting common prosperity, and to ensuring sustained development of the world, and thirdly set a good example for cooperation between countries with different political and social systems. It is for this reason that development of China and EU relationship is of great vitality, and would play a major role to the international community.
