Political Deceit

Book Abstract by: ofata

Original Author: simion kirui
''The evil Culture of Political Deceit''
In most countries where elections are held. Politicians running for different
sits and positions promise citizens a thousand and one things. Citizens could imagine rising from rugs to riches thru promises they are given before elections.
Once most politicians take up the sits they forget the citizens and do there own things, which only benefit them, close friends and members of their families. In African countries where there are many tribes such as Kenya, a government can opt to practice total tribalism in the allocation of resources and allocation of top government positions. Thru the culture of political deceits the government give own telling the rest of the world that positions are purely given based on merits.  Though political loyalty talk a high consideration the government does not mentioned this instead it still talk of giving out jobs based on qualifications and merits.  Who will save us and deliver us from this deceit. I believe the God of universe will one day bring deliverance. Political deceptions should be equated with other evils such as murder and robbery. Through political deceptions some people citizens have been suppressed and un equal playing grounds created resulting on others being richer than others.  Let us all rise up against the vicious circle of political deceits.
If there are persons who preach water and drink water then most political governments of the day are top on the list.  Most government s keep lying to the citizens who are expected to keep funding the administration’s illegal acts is criminal.
Things have gotten so ridiculous that instead of just coming out and telling people the truth, government officials and politicians colluded in fraud to cover up the truth.
One common strategy used is to keep the voters ''educated'' only to a certain level of intelligence, and to give them enough goodies for them to want more at every cycle of election and instant ''development packages'' – new roads, new playgrounds, new schools, new promises, etc, so that they will be happier voters. They Let the voters corrode their own moral character and let the children of the voters learn that this are what democracy, politics, and elections is all about.
They create structure of dependency and systematic programme of the maintenance of the ''welfare'' mentality – the ideology of the ''hand that feed’.
The developed Countries also practice political deceptions to developing countries The advanced, industrialized countries will give aid and some help with technology to the industrializing countries so that the former will continue to control and manipulate while the latter will be continue to be controlled and be manipulated.
The structure of dependency constitutes ''structural violence''. The relationship related in short run is that between the giver and the receiver, translated into the oppressor and the oppressed. This curriculum of totalitarianism is hidden through political deceit and false propaganda.
Until voters are intelligent enough to understand this structure of dependency and are wise and ethical enough to reject the goodies from the ''hands that giveth'', we will still see corrupt politicians installed to further transform the lives of others through development projects created so that it is not that the people that will benefit, but the few people that will make sure that they themselves will reap the benefits.
Far too much we hear the word ''progress and development'' these days. We hear of our economy doing well. We hear of the war against corruption and poverty being intensified. We hear slogans, rhetoric and ''managed perception''. We do not know what is real and what is invention anymore. We see an intensifying effort to divide, subdivide, fragment, and dissipate progressive parties thaate and radical change".
The voters should act pejoratively to such a decaying tactics if only they want a fair, democratic election and a fair representation in the government to monitor blatant abuse of power in the government of the day. The voters must become wise and ethical enough to reject the goodies.
Let our children learn that it is terrifying for leaders to build palaces while the homes of the poor are demolished in pretence of slum upgrading.
