Dear Sir/Madam, I have been a long time supporter of RSPCA. I applaud you for your work on cruelty to the living treasures.
I am sending this for a little
support of my own and No I do not mean financially. You strive in your daily duties to protect animals from harm. Cutting to the chase now. I had a black Labrador named Elvis, she was 14years of age, and was cared for like a human, everything was done to the best of our ability because in our world our pets are all we have. Elvis was put down on Thursday, and instead of going into every detail I will just note the facts. Puppy deteriorated before our eyes, on Thursday there wasn’t time to think, we had puppy to the vet to be put down, it was the only thing we could do, the vet said they would arrange burial, we were too devastated to
speak so didn’t take in anything he said, no follow up phone calls were made by the vet for final decisions on puppy’s body, my mother and I phoned Sunday 2 days after to see if she was there to bring home to cremate, one minute she was there, next the office said they would have to check, we were told they were not mind readers and it was our responsibility to inform them on our wishes, (how to advise anyone about anything under the emotions and the shock is quite beyond me), they all could see we could not speak.
